“Modernstarts” Exhibition. The Pilar Citoler “Circa XX” Collection

On display in four exhibition halls around the city are about three hundred works of contemporary art belonging to the Circa XX Collection of art collector and chairperson of the Reina Sofia Art Centre National Museum, Pilar Citoler.
 

Exhibition of the 3rd Pilar Citoler International Contemporary Photography Award

In 2008, the Rafael Boti Provincial Arts Foundation together with the University of Cordoba ran the third edition of the Pilar Citoler International Contemporary Photography Award.
 

First International Forum on Diversity and Multiculturalism

This is a place to exchange experiences about the challenges of the process of social transformation arising from today’s diverse society and it provides a moment for reflection and analysis of the development of multicultural public policies.

Poets of the World in Cordoba

A wide range of activities, from educational and creative workshops to photo-poem and video-poem competitions, through film cycles, concerts by singer-songwriters, lectures or drama, all culminates in late April with the presence in Cordoba of established and emerging poets of different nationalities and languages.

Cordoba in May

In May, Cordoba takes to the streets. In the city, the courtyards are opened up, and the people open their windows wide, fill the town squares and let the party atmosphere take over the spring, now almost turning to summer. The White Night of Flamenco

The 29th Cordoba Guitar Festival

The festival, which in 2009 celebrated its twenty-ninth edition, has a well-deserved national and international reputation among lovers of the guitar, mainly due to the excellent quality of the performers and teachers involved.

Presjovem International Music School and Festival

Presjovem has directed this project for the training and dissemination of musical culture since its foundation in 1991, and now, after eighteen years of activity, it has become more than simply a point of reference for the whole autonomous community of Andalusia – it has put the project firmly on the map as one of the most prestigious events in the whole country.

Scarpia. Days of Artistic Exhibitions in Natural and Urban Areas in El Carpio and Cordoba

Scarpia is considered, on a national level, as the most dynamic laboratory and creative project which exists nowadays in the world of landscape art. Eutopía 09. International Festival of Youth Creation

The fourth edition of Eutopia, the International Festival of Youth Creation, takes place in Cordoba in the month of September. As on previous occasions, this Andalusian city, over the nine days of the festival, becomes the capital of bright ideas, the inevitable meeting place between the public and young creators.

El Patio de Mi Casa (The Patio in my House): Contemporary Art in the Courtyards of Cordoba

The courtyards or “patios” of Cordoba are one of the most genuine hallmarks of this city. The traditional architecture of the Cordoba patios joins hands with contemporary art in this exhibition whose curator is the Cuban, Gerardo Mosquera.

Animacor’09

The celebration of Animacor '09, the 5th International Festival of Animation in Cordoba, marks the consolidation of an event which makes Cordoba an annual meeting point for the international animation industry.

After the Wire. Spanish Art in Exile 1939-1957
